By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncturists will help to balance the flow of this energy and help you with healing. The needles, which are pre-sterilized and disposable, are extremely thin and cause little or no pain when inserted. At our office acupuncture is performed only by licensed acupuncturists as opposed to other clinics which have other practitioners performing acupuncture. Despite these other practitioners being accredited we feel that a licensed acupuncturist whose focus is acupuncture gives the patient the best chance at success. Our acupuncturists combine acupuncture with other healing techniques such as cupping, moxibustion, Gua Sha, and nutrition therapy.
